As Pluto, the Roman god of the Underworld, known as Hades in Greek times, he ruled the things that come out of the ground: gold, silver, oil, etc. All the things men covet so much. Maybe you could call Pluto the planet of coveting.
Being warm, happy and feeling safe makes us weak, but it is very known, comfortable and familiar, so our body likes that. A state of no-pain, however, is like sleep, very beguiling, intoxicating, and addictive.
Everybody should want a bright and prominent Jupiter; it signals enlightenment for society and a view of life that is better than just a cynical, materialistic “battle royale” for survival, where there are laws and standards based on morality, spirituality, and the higher potential of humanity, etc.
April 2018 this year as Mars makes a close pass to Saturn and Pluto. Basically, we’re talking about the direct application and direction of force, whether it’s for survival or the survival of important endeavors.
So we get a taste of possibly the higher-leveraged success that is potential with Jupiter in Scorpio, but it doesn’t really kick in until much later this year. Jupiter in Libra is more of a relational and refining type of energy, hopefully bringing elements into balance before they undergo the Scorpionic stresses and intensity.
