Astrology and World Conditions Meet: May 2025
It’s very interesting right now living in the world: wars ongoing and brewing, economic wars, and a definite shift geopolitically. The Ukraine war peace talks stalling and European involvement with it, the Israel-Palestine war and a possible US-Iran war, trouble between India and Pakistan, problems with Houthi-Ansarallah in Yemen, and a very immanent-seeming supply chain crisis hitting the world and most especially the US.
One guy at the center of it all, US President Donald Trump himself has some intense cycles coming due just around the corner time-wise. Read the article detailing it.
I see at least three near-term peak astrological intervals:
- May 3-4: Sun hard aspects Saturn, Uranus conjunct Algol (with Juno asteroid) and Pluto startionary retrograde.
- May 12: Micromoon Full Moon tridecile Pluto, and Mercury square Pluto
- May 16-17: Sun conjunct Algol star and Uranus, Mercury square Mars and semisquare Saturn
I expect these intense configurations to coincide with the initial real consequences of the US’s current global tariffs policies, which can mean there is no more merchandise to fill the shelves at our favorite stores, as well as price inflation and work layoffs. It could even start at the beginning of the month with the first set of configurations above.
With the Sun on Algol and Uranus closely conjunct (May 16-17) this can mean shock and upset, breaking us out of past paradigms. Paradigms such as the US is the preeminent economic superpower for the world; at least the cracks beginning to appear.
Thus, fighting wars can soon follow, as all other options fail. 
What will Donald Trump and the entire Western banking and big business sectors do? 100+ years of global colonialism comes around to bite them in the ass? There are other options, of course, but Trump and the US have little to bargain with, except bringing their significant military might upon their existential threats.
Like they say, if all you have is a hammer, every thing starts to look like a nail. The US could not possibly ramp up it’s domestic industries in a few months or years; it’s delusional to think otherwise, which speaks as much about the US leadership as anything else does. To me, it takes a good amount of delusionary thinking not to think that there will be pain ahead.
Like it is also said, every obstacle-problem, to the constructive mind, can become a great opportunity for permanent good. Keep that in mind, especially during the times specified above, but in all your days too.
