Trump Tariffs Astrology 2025: Chaotic Shakeup, Then Renewed Strength?
It’s economic warfare: tariffs, reciprocal tariffs, sanctions, and embargos.
It’s just more convenient than with literal bombs, missiles and tanks; and it gives somebody a chance to move in and take over.
China, all nations, back and forth tariffs, wait now it ‘s 90 days pause, wait more it’s only 25% for everyone else….
Now it’s 145% for China
Wait again, all electronics and phones are now exempt……
The US President, Donald Trump, seems to have thrown himself, as is his want, into hot water again
As a predictor myself, I know that most predictions fail. It is either somewhere in between proposed outcomes, but because we all have free will, Trump himself may well surprise us once again.
Trump Inflationary Crisis or Economic Renaissance?
The alleged outcomes are either a massively inflationary economic crisis, which alienates the US from almost all other nations of the world; or else, there will be an emergence of a 19th century-like of economic renaissance whereby it is no longer held hostage by “unfair” practices of other nations. The first outcome seems quite likely, the second quite hopeful, if not desperately so.
I can imagine the timetable for this scenario will be quite short, especially in an economy that is based on “just in time” supply chains. Markets have already plunged, and world-wide trust and confidence in the US is falling as well. Even though Trump boasts that nations are flocking to him, “kissing his ass” seeking reconciliation; it will be China’s response that will be key.
So, looking in the short term for Trump’s astrology I see a couple relevant indicators: dire, but also seeming positive.
- Transiting Uranus has just cleared conjunction with Trump’s midheaven (Mc)
- In the last month or so, transiting Jupiter is currently moving over Trump’s natal Uranus, North Node, and Sun, concluding on May 13, 2025.
- At the same time, March 11-13, transiting Mars will be right over (conjunct) Trump’s natal Mars in the twelfth house.

This is indeed an upsetting the status quo type of configuration, with Algol star (Medusa’s Severed Head) right there also, he is truly shaking things up; that is, whether he knows what he is doing or not.
I should say that this point in Trump’s chart was intensely activated in 2024 coinciding exactly with his assassination attempt. There is definitely somewhat of an existential risk for Trump at this time, if only for his credibility and reputation.

This indicates ideological recklessness to me, but also some kind of protective good fortune to it as well. Jupiter inspires self-confidence and audacity and a temporary raising up of the heat of things; all of which are not necessarily good things.
A false sense of moral righteousness and over-compensating bluster can fuel all sorts of chutzpah and mischief, taking one (and all connected to that one, such as the entire nation he is president of) down erroneous paths.
Trump’s amazing ability to evade accountability and negative consequences thereof may pull him out of the fire. Yet, to quote Proverbs 16 in the Bible:
“Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. Better it is to be of a lowly spirit with the poor, Than to divide the spoil with the proud.”
He may survive, but he burns up a lot of good karma along the way.
Transiting Mars conjunct Trump’s Natal Pluto, March 12, 2025
This seems like a watershed moment now for something to happen, and it won’t be neat, nice, or refined. The twelfth house represents one’s enemies, one’s most deceptive foes, and one’s greatest vulnerabilities. Mars and Pluto in connection here will tend to operate in brutal and destructive ways.
At about the same time, the transiting Sun will conjunct transiting Uranus very close to his natal midheaven (along with Algol), accentuating the shakeup of things in the spotlight.
In early June Mars then crosses over into his first house and conjuncts itself on June 15, which may be some kind of resurgence of recent agitations.
Vedic Dasas of Trump in 2025
Currently Trump is overshadowed by the dasa lords of Jupiter-Venus, which are curiously benign by themselves, giving me the idea that he is under some ideological sense of credibility (however miniscule it is) and therefore some motivation which moves him along.
There will be a sub-sub dasa of Ketu (South Node) starting on May 28 through to July 24, which may be appropriately misfortunate for him, especially taking the transits above into account.

But then he seems to become empowered to a degree, as he enters 10-month Sun sub dasa (antara dasa). With his rather strong Sun activated it suggests some kind of “success” for him. The last sub dasa of the Sun in the life of Trump was in the 2011-12 era, where he started his first attempt at politics. He eventually declined to run, but he was making deliberate moves in that direction.
How would that play out in this context? A kind of resurgence? Trump fighting back?
We should also take into account those overshadowing dasa lords of Jupiter and Venus. Those planets while auspicious in themselves are both afflicted in his chart. Jupiter is debilitated in Virgo and Venus is in the twelfth house closely conjunct a debilitated Saturn (malefic in itself) and disposed by an equally afflicted Moon in Scorpio. The “good” things portended by Jupiter and Venus become false, deceptive, and ultimately disappointing.
I should think that Trump will have to retract his threats of more tariffs, other economic warfare tactics and bullying. Losing a lot of global credibility in the process and conversely enabling the prosperity of the so-called enemies to the US that Trump accuses: China, Russia and the emerging BRICS bloc of nations.
Will Wall Street, which started the deindustrialization of the US (for more profits in the first place), suddenly decide to turn completely around their business models on a dime, giving up billions in the process? In some pie-in-the-sky libertarian, conservative utopia, they would indeed. Not in the real world, or in the short span of a few months or a year either.
This seems like the beginning of the end of US and Western powers global hegemony, a global pivotal shift. Trumps actions like the proverbial stones that broke the camel’s back. Maybe that’s a good thing. Maybe this didn’t need to happen at all.
