I remember reading the newspaper each day. Plop, it appears on our doorstep every day. Without the newspaper, how would we every know what was good in the world, and what is bad. It’s a great tool for mind-shaping, but propaganda would be a more accurate word. Narratives are pre-defined. As Noam Chomsky called it: manufactured consent.
Nature already designed a newspaper for us: the stars above us playing out their courses in cosmic, mythic, and astronomical motifs. The Hermeticists had a saying, “As above, so below”. The skies above us become a great mirror to life, reflecting in mathematical precision the dramas us humans play below.
Part of the reason Star World News is a thing is because I wanted to display a part of that cosmic precision for all to benefit from. It just works, albeit with a certain subtlety. The newspaper has editors, with astrology the only editor is the heart with some help from the soaring spirit. The main message of the stars is that we encounter differing representations of our psychology and that there is cause and effect (call it karma), and that it all comes down to the planetary lords and their “rulership” over the cycles of energy, karma, and the spirit.
It may be able to help us find our next relationship, when we win the lottery, or when we have a “bad” day; but those are very base uses of the art of astrology, and ultimately profitless from that point of view. Astrology is a soul evolution tool, a framework to spiritual attainment, and a source of eternal comfort.
