Donald Trump Astrology: An Aggressive, Reckless, Emotionally-Stunted Figure in the Public Eye
To start off this astrological update of current history, I thought I would revisit the horoscope of the US President Trump and see if some new insights may emerge. After that, look at the chart of the Trump Administration itself, that manifested at the inauguration of his latest term, and then compare them to the chart of the United States itself. We’ll also take a look at the chart of Jeffrey Epstein and see how it interrelates to current affairs. This is a multi-part series to be published in the spring of 2026.
I think everyone will appreciate the results. Also, please remember that I am using Vedic astrology interpretation techniques along with it’s sidereal (more astronomically accurate—Raman ayanamsa) zodiac, and then some more Western astrology guidelines taken into account.
The horoscope of Donald Trump Revisited
Trump was born with Leo rising and Mars close to Ascendant; he is aggressive, impulsive and governed by passions. The Sun, ruling the ascendant, landing in Gemini in the eleventh house gives an ideological or verbal accentuation; it is also good for increase and success in life. He never seems to be short on words, but he’s never very deep either, nor is he ever much truthful.
His Sun has high shad bala, as does his Venus; he gets his way and knows what he wants. He’s also popular and magnetic in his appeal, which he directs towards success in life. Mars becomes raja yoga, ruling the nineth house and landing in the first house, marks him as potentially highly successful in life.
Mars in Leo in the first house is a very self-directed (egotistical, selfish; if you will) position for a planet; not to mention aggressive. The Sun, ruling his Leo ascendant, is a motif in his life: dominating, his lion-like head of hair, his affinity for gold, and being a ruler of sorts.
Being a fixed sign, Leo rising can be quite stubborn and long-burning.

His Venus and Saturn closely conjunct in the twelfth house tells me he’s a lonely man, cannot connect in true emotional or even respectful ways towards others, and he may compensate for that by a serial-like tendency towards many affairs and even those of distinct age or cultural differences in relationships.
Saturn as the seventh house (marriages and partnerships) ruler in the twelfth house debilitated (in Cancer) just merely reinforces the blemished relationships theme. Saturn here could be one of the most underhanded positions of the planet. Ruthless, corrupt.
Trump’s Moon debilitated in Scorpio conjunct the South Node in the fourth house indicates a severity or cruelty towards others and makes him focus on the “big” wins instead of “lesser” private ones.
Jupiter in debilitation in Virgo in the second house shows an inclination towards moneyed interests, but motivations may be hollow or hypocritical in ways; and that he speaks in broad and sensationalistic ways, but his facts are adjustable for convenience.
Having his Mercury in square to Neptune does not add clarity to his expressions as they can be very dogmatic and self-undermining. Lies, but compulsive and manipulative. Facts are less important than feelings that are conveyed.
With Taurus as the tenth house sign, it’s ruler Venus is conjunct a debilitated Saturn in the trouble-laden twelfth house, this can indicate that his executive power is hampered by intrigues, deceptions and just a failure to be effective. Success in this case is very subjective and dysfunctional; he just can’t hold it together.
However, the Sun, Mercury and Jupiter in Vedic rasi aspect to each other indicates a very hyperbolic nature, which can make great headlines on the Internet and newspapers, which also can be very fleeting and otherwise irrelevant. Thus, problematic successes. The same goes for promises, goals, and sincerity.
Sure, he’s a billionaire, but in this world today, are not those billions of dollars as potentially vaporous as anything on the markets today? It all becomes a matter of perceptions, interpretations and fraudulent manipulation.
In this world (as questionable as its values are) he is a “winner”, but in the cosmic-spiritual scheme of things he is quite lacking. Pluto, sitting in the twelfth house, would indicate some very significant “skeletons in this closet”; all of which will blow up one day.
Uranus and the North Node (Rahu) in the tenth house in Taurus shows a tendency to be the “outsider, reformer”. One can quite agree that Trump is shaking things up, albeit not in the ways that we would all prefer.
Yet now he is President of the United States, as hollow of an office as that is. The candidates become servants of the moneyed interests that financed their campaigns, and which they spend the rest of their terms fulfilling their wishes. The allusions to democracy or representative government ultimately are fiction. This Donald Trump is now President; it all seems very fitting.
