Venus Conj. Mars, Aspecting Jupiter

The planetary configurations are building up a somewhat strong crescendo in March 2015. In a very short span of days next month we will be having a very tight configuration between the Nodes, Mars, Uranus, and Pluto, plus the addition of Saturn turning retrograde. It’s basically the grand finale of the ongoing Uranus-Pluto square that has been in effect over the last year or two that all the astrologers have been buzzing about. But I will be covering that in more depth later.

In the meantime, during this two week period, we will be having our share of astrological intensity, which may help set us up for the bigger event next month. I’ve rather concisely detailed them below, but one configuration stands outs in particular as being rather nice and fuzzy.

Feb 20, 2015 Venus-Mars Conjunction, Sesququadrate Jupiter

On Friday-Saturday, Feb 20-21, 2015, Venus and Mars will exactly conjunct and simultaneously make a minor hard aspect (sesquiquadrate) to Jupiter. Rheinhold Ebertin in the book The Combination of Stellar Influences describes this three way configuration as: A healthy sex-relationship, a strong physical attraction, a rich soul life and expression of feeling.

A little warmth and intimacy is a welcome thing, especially when the stars above “agree” with it.  The one caveat with Jupiter in the equation is that things may become a little exaggerated, inflated, sensationalized, which sometimes takes away from the overall legitimacy of the affair.

Fri-Sat, Feb 20-21
Romance, excitement and adventure call. Be careful going overboard with proclamations, promises or predictions. The spirit of the moment can be so (over-) confidence inspiring. Be careful of falling for ultimately trite, pretentious, or propagandistic figures or ideals. (Venus conjunct Mars, Mars sesquiquadrate Jupiter)
