Let keep an eye out through this coming weekend, the fever pitch of the astrology could cause the kettle of planetary consciousness to boil.  Anyone who reads SWN is already focused on the larger picture.  What we think is where we need to act, time is not run out but it is trying to move us along.  Eventually the hordes of barbarians overrun the border and society collapses into chaos sometimes taking a thousand years to recover from.

As it’s been a while since I was covering our immediate astrology (due to a temporary set of overwhelming circumstances), I’m going to try to catch up on a micro and macro level astrologically bringing SWN readers up to speed.

We are about to move into the heart of the most recent major configuration of planets on Saturday, April 28 with the conjunction of Mars, Uranus, and the North Node (Rahu in Vedic astrology).  It would seem that WWIII starting in Iran now seems less immanent, although such an eventually seems closer and closer to a reality down the road. 

The recent Virginia Tech shootings however are very “hot” in the media and certainly being capitalized politically.  If you take a closer look at the situation through various alternative news outlets a lot of inconsistencies come out about the mainstream version of events.  Again, it would seem with world affairs that things don’t occur without some “help” along the way.  The manipulation of shock and horror in the public perception can go a long way to promote certain agendas.  This may seem somewhat “conspiratorial” to some but it nevertheless needs to be said; SWN always tries to point to the truth. 

As Mars and Uranus come into very tight alignment with the Nodal Axis in sidereal Leo/Aquarius, at the same time Venus moves exactly perpendicular to them forming a “t-square” loosely with Jupiter.  The influence of these planets to the mix introduces relationship developments and spirituality.  I daresay that the influence of Venus and Jupiter here act as welcome mitigating elements, channeling the impetuous energies of Mars and Uranus into relationship dynamics and ideological/philosophical affairs. 

The downside of course of the above mentioned mitigation as it does not completely compensate for or neutralize the foundational angst and turbulence of Mars and Uranus on the Nodes, and it causes a certain amount of suppression or repression of the negative elements which must therefore surface down the road some time.  Let us not question however the greater wisdom of the framed cycles of the universe affecting the story of humanity, the above mitigation gives us all some needed respite and grace to gain perspective on our affairs and it is exactly what we need. 

Let keep an eye out however through this coming weekend, the fever pitch of the astrology could cause the kettle of planetary consciousness to boil.  The major powers of the world (the US, Russia, and China) and polarizing over Iran at the moment, the US dollar continues to plummet in value, and the forces of globalism are on the move affecting us politically and economically.  A part of the road to ruin exemplified in previous civilizations such a Rome is that the populace finds diversion and escape from facing the hard realities that neglect and corruption bring to their door.  Eventually the hordes of barbarians overrun the border and society collapses into chaos sometimes taking a thousand years to recover from. 

The electronic drone of our TV, celebrity personalities, sports and entertainment industries tend to promote the idea that everything is alright and that we can relax when maybe that is the furthest from the truth.  This is why the universe has to periodically “nudge” us back to wakefulness, and this is the job of planets like Mars and Uranus (now becoming active) to shock us back to reality and start turning things around.  I could go on and on about the Democrats and Republicans in Washington but this is not the place.  Take action interpersonally and use the power of groups to effect societal change.  Anyone who reads SWN is already focused on the larger picture.  What we think is where we need to act, time is not run out but it is trying to move us along.
