OVERVIEW

Like the previous week, it is nearly nil with astrological configurations until the upcoming weekend when the other shoe drops, as it were.  On Sunday, Nov 2, the planet Neptune turns direct from some months of retrograde motion. 

A simple rule of thumb for astrology is that the slower a planet moves, the deeper and more profound will its manifestations be in our lives.  So when a slow moving planet stops dead you could say it is really going deep and strong.  It’s called a station when the planet in question switches direction in motion, for a short time it appears to be completely still and in practice I find this to be the most active and powerful time in a planets effects on us. 

Of course this is all relative to the observer, it does not actually come to a stop; it is the differentials in the orbital motions of our respective planets, which makes this illusion. However, being an illusion, it in no way detracts from the fact that the heavens are a great reflecting mirror for us to project our consciousness on.  The Hermetic axiom states: "As above, so below"; so as the great supernal light of Neptune reflecting back to us on planet Earth appears to go stop and go backward for a while, matters of creativity, divine love, and non-linear thought can seem to go a little haywire at the same time. 

Can it be too much of a coincidence that the US elections occur just two days after this major astrological event; could there be some haywire, screwed up thoughts about saviors and everything will be alright if we just believe in it?  Neptune is the planet of illusion and delusion, where we all trick ourselves to believing everything is all right when they are really anything but.
