Guliani On the Skids, Huckabee Lift, Ron Paul Coming Up the Side.
by Curtis Burns,

Vedic Astrology of Guliani, Huckabee, and Paul

In this wild system we have over here in the States called the presidential elections, there is endless opportunity to speculate on the ups and downs of the various candidates.  Personally I find them nothing more than straw-men, of little personal substance but definitely tied to more covert and monied interests that already own the world.

Guliani’s Vedic cycles (Rahu dasa) are fairly good, but may also have some fatal undermining qualities to it, since its ruler is the Moon in the malefic twelfth house.  Mike Huckabee, a pretty typical governor from Arkansas, is on the rise. He, of course, caters to the Republican religious right; who like that good old Bible thumping Christian zealotry that stirs the heart so, but may put the mind to rest a little too easily.

Ron Paul of course is a complete wildcard, not playing anyone’s game but his own….

In this wild system we have over here in the States called the presidential elections, there is endless opportunity to speculate on the ups and downs of the various candidates.  Personally I find them nothing more than straw-men, of little personal substance but definitely tied to more covert and monied interests that already own the world. Ron Paul, however, I find to be a different sort of animal.

Looking lately at the situation the two supposed front-runners, Hillary Clinton and Rudy Guliani are faring mediocre to worse respectively.  According to CNN Hillary already has enough delegates to win the Democratic nomination, but Guliani is languishing in fifth or sixth place behind Ron Paul, Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney, and Fred Thompson.

I have already looked at Hillary’s astrology a number of years ago.  At the time I was of the opinion that she would more or less remain a lesser player in the Senate, somewhat strong, but not on top.  My astrological acumen has sharpened since then, understanding to a greater degree the subtleties of the Vedic system, and I probably will need to re-look at the entire situation.

Of all the presidents and candidates I have looked at over the years a few elements remain constant in all of them: a strong personality and desire to pursue goals, a personal appeal, the ability to embody the hopes and dreams of the people, and also a clear tie to controlling and powerful forces that may prey upon their personal vices and proclivities to underhanded dealings.  As a fact I know that the entire electoral process is almost completely managed, and that these so-called leaders hardly lead as they more actually represent those who put them in power.  They are usually globalists, pursuing a trans-nationalist, pro-central banking, and militaristic agenda; which has almost nothing to do with the US Constitution as it was originally drafted.

I have yet to fully look at the chart of Guliani, but I did a quick scan of it and I can at least give a few nuggets, which may or may not pan out when I get to a more methodical examination thereof. (Chart data: 5/28/1944; 14:30; Brooklyn, NY)

Right now Guliani’s Saturn in sidereal Gemini in the tenth house, not quite a good place for it to me because it means "a fall from grace", has got a slow-moving Mars sitting right on top of it, which will be hanging around there probably past "Super Duper Tuesday" on February 5, 2008.  His Saturn is also afflicted right now by a flock of planets on the other side over in Sagittarius including Pluto.

Transiting Saturn from his twelfth (a very bad place for a malefic) is squaring his Sun; and transiting Ketu is moving over his Moon in the twelfth.  This is a really difficult place to be, and no wonder he is lagging in the polls.

Guliani’s Vedic cycle is a fairly good Rahu dasa, but may also have some fatal undermining qualities to it, since its ruler is the Moon in the malefic twelfth house. As he moves into fall 2008 and the peak fever of the elections, he moves into a Moon sub-dasa, which could be nearly disasterous with such an ill-dignified Moon.  Maybe there will be some scandal that could shipwreck the campaign, or he will be undone by hidden enemies. There is certainly more to be said about his astrology, and that will be for another time.  (And this is not my final word on his astrology either.)

Mike Huckabee

Mike Huckabee, a pretty typical governor from Arkansas, is on the rise. He, of course, caters to the Republican religious right; who like that good old Bible thumping Christian zealotry that stirs the heart so, but may put the mind to rest a little too easily.  I will do a look at his chart; but the point I want to make here is that he may be nothing more than a safety valve for those people who might be afraid of electing current front-runner and Mormon Mitt Romney.  It was hard enough electing Roman Catholic John F. Kennedy in 1960, how much more difficult for a Mormon with their very unconventional beliefs?

Ron Paul

Ron Paul of course is a complete wildcard, not playing anyone’s game but his own.  Time will tell how his campaign will end.  Just because a man with different ideas finds himself in the Oval Office does not necessarily mean anything.  However I find a man with an avowed intent to end the Federal Reserve Bank and the income tax right off the bat looks to be a task of mythical proportions.  It is almost like walking into the bear’s den armed only with a piece of paper and saying "get out of here now!"

I must say that new blood like Ron Paul is actually indicated in the chart of the upcoming next administration’s inauguration, along with some signs of hope that we have not seen in a long time.  The last few administration charts since Reagan on have been pretty awful, but the Jan 20, 2009 one has something going for it that could mean something good.

On that little note, you can look forward to hearing more about that in the future.

March 2024: A World without Equinoxes or Solstices

In March we come to the Vernal Equinox, when for about a month night and day are of about equal length, hence the word equinox.  There is one day when they are exactly equal and that is the Vernal Equinox, March 20. It is thereafter that one starts to gain dominance, for the Northern Hemisphere it is the day, while in the Southern it is night.  For the Southern their part of the globe actually moves away from the sun, hence the decreased light.
