Dissolution of Constructs of the MInd
by Curtis Burns,

As the Moon in Vedic teachings represents the mind the waxing Moon symbolizes the ascendancy of the mind and it’s positive effect on life, prosperity, and happiness.  In a higher spiritual level the waning Moon then symbolizes the meditative retreat and dissolution of the constructs of the mind as it approaches proximity (returns to) to the non-differentiated nirvanic state of spirit embodied in….

This week as I have a number of clients to attend to I'm giving my mind a rest with the overview section of Astro Success.  There is not a lot of overall patterns to comment on anyway.  Please keep supporting SWN.

Mon, Aug 6
Eclipsing all other considerations today is Jupiter turning direct.  The potential for increased spirituality should be strong, and a sense of zeal and enthusiasm should be tangibly present. Other aspects from planets today should elevate the possibilities for excitement but also stability of mind that can be focused on important goals.  Relationships could offer intriguing, but unrealistic benefits; people could be inspired to pursue them as a means of escapism.  (Jupiter stationary direct, Saturn trine Pluto, Juno trine Neptune, Mars quintile Uranus)

Tue, Aug 7
Relationships and the pull of desire will be very strong.  Note any underlying jealousies or vanities driving the dynamics between people today.  Desire many times has an underlying sense of absence-of that thing which it longs for; when for the fully God-realized individual they understand that they already have all things that they need.  (Venus square Mars)

No peaking influences

Thur, Aug 9
Connections and communications are highlighted, and what inspires and elevates the mind.  The power to persuade should be enhanced, as are the human traits of over-estimation, exaggeration, and bending of the truth.  (Mercury trine Jupiter, quintile Juno)

Fri, Aug 10
Fanatical and urgent states of mind are possible.  The desire to be free of restraint or restriction could be acutely felt, which may incite actions with the intent of bringing about changes or reforms in the psyche.  (Mercury sesquiquadrate Pluto, biquintile Uranus; Sun quincunx Uranus)

Sat, Aug 11
A little excitement and impetuosity may make the day somewhat more interesting.  Be careful about overly sensitive egos getting poked the wrong way.  (Mercury quintile Mars)

Sun, Aug 12, NEW MOON IN SIDEREAL CANCER
The Moon looses all its light as conjuncts the Sun, completing the monthly lunar cycle, which symbolizes human birth, youth, adulthood, waning senility, and death.  As the Moon in Vedic teachings represents the mind the waxing Moon symbolizes the ascendancy of the mind and it’s positive effect on life, prosperity, and happiness.  In a higher spiritual level the waning Moon then symbolizes the meditative retreat and dissolution of the constructs of the mind as it approaches proximity (returns to) to the non-differentiated nirvanic state of spirit embodied in the Sun.  New moons like right now are more contemplative and passive, and sometimes considered somewhat malefic in their effects on mundane affairs.

Mon, Aug 13
Certainly a significant day.  The sense of selfhood may come under vague or unusual influences.  Deceit patterns of behavior may be energized, and vitality may feel at a low level.  Spiritual development however may be enhanced, as some of the typical ego-constructs of the mind may be temporarily neutralized.  Relationships may have unique developments right now, while not so seemingly exciting and luminous as in other situations, relationships now may feel a somewhat subdued, but altogether practical and realistic thrust to them.  Some may break apart for good reason; others may find more stable ground which to flourish with.  (Sun opposite Neptune, Venus conjunct Saturn)

March 2024: A World without Equinoxes or Solstices

In March we come to the Vernal Equinox, when for about a month night and day are of about equal length, hence the word equinox.  There is one day when they are exactly equal and that is the Vernal Equinox, March 20. It is thereafter that one starts to gain dominance, for the Northern Hemisphere it is the day, while in the Southern it is night.  For the Southern their part of the globe actually moves away from the sun, hence the decreased light.
