OVERVIEW:
The last leg of the most recent cluster of astrological events occurs this week on Wednesday, April 5th. Rest assured that in some way and at some level something is afoot. Sometimes the highly-hyped-up event (as astrologers are so wont to do) will take place in some behind-closed-doors type of manner, but the consequences ripple out to public awareness in the succeeding days and weeks.

Sometimes the highly-hyped-up event (as astrologers are so wont to do) will take place in some behind-closed-doors type of manner, but the consequences ripple out to public awareness in the succeeding days and weeks.
The main player in the sky is the planet Saturn, which will be turning stationary direct (switching movement from backwards to forward with a time interval of apparently “standing still” in the sky). If you were to look at Saturn in the night sky, it would have a type of cold, grayish look to it.
Saturn cuts deep to the psyche ferreting out egoic attachments that are based on fear and anxiety, inexorably pushing you and I onto greater independence and true significance. So if you’re quite trapped by your own fears and self-doubts, then Saturn to you indeed is a force to shudder at.
The greater you resist and evade Saturn of course the greater he will pursue you, and it would be then during times like we are now into that Saturn wrecks his particular “havoc” in our lives. So if you are overly attached to name, fame, money, family, job or career; especially if you are so in order to gain a greater sense of power and significance (which is otherwise derived from a spiritual standpoint), then you are especially vulnerable to potential setbacks and “misfortunes” right now.
On the macro/world scene right now losses and setbacks could be seen through governmental actions (the limiting of freedoms for whatever reason), economic setbacks or burdens, or even losses or crisis through acts of nature. On the micro level this week might be a little darker in emotional tone, and psychological/physiological conditions brought about by negative attitudes could flare.
If you are aware of some things that could break down now, it would be good to know and not be caught quite as surprised. At any rate a feeling of needing to be serious and a lot of hard work is at hand will be very tangible. Don’t I know it J; April 5 is my birthday. I’m making headway with SWN, but it is a lot of hard work; and I’m hoping everyone is remaining patient.
Tuesday, April 4
Real power does not come from controlling or dominating others, but by being able to control one's self. With the Sun aspecting Pluto today issues of authority and the uses and abuses of power will be at hand; the temptation to manipulate others with intrigues and subtle guiles will be strong. One may get a strong feeling of exhilaration after doing something dramatic or forceful, but that feeling does not replace the knowing that one simply is equal to any task. Further, BE-ING is not something defined by action, but it simply IS. The false self finds itself competing with the REAL SELF today. The false self relies on outer validations (easily debatable), while the real self is unconcerned with relativistic displays. This is a day of many layers of meaning to our actions; a powerful magnetic feeling may be had, but it masks deep problematical motivations. On other fronts the power to convince, persuade, and sell will be strong. The mind will be especially energized to understand higher concepts; and it will be brimming over with ideas and enthusiasm; MOST of them true and accurate.

Wednesday, April 5
As Saturn comes to a complete "screeching" halt in the sky apparently (and which has been elucidated on in the Astro-Success for the Week section) it will also today get a particularly subtle, but penetrating aspect from the transiting Sun. The feeling of loss, separation, difficulty, and pain may be almost personally felt. The ego could get a good lancing, which is an inevitable thing. A little humility can't hurt; a little humiliation can't be much worse. Keep your head held high though, the negative clouds of emotional energy pressing in won't stay for long as the eternal Sun of your Divine spirit will return; and you'll be better for the experiencing of it. Thur, April 6
Today another planet links up with freshly moving-forward Saturn: Mercury. Don't celebrate yet. Saturn is the ultimate party-pooper. The party is when Venus and Jupiter enter the scene. Get back to work, something "important" could happen 
. Mars is coming up to Pluto now (April 8); the iron is definitely getting hotter. (Mercury minor hard aspect to Saturn)
Friday, April 7
This is it, the big brute Pluto faces off with the little brute Mars. There may not be a little bit of intimidation going on with others, and the desire to show off one's prowess could be quite strong. Strutting egos, of course, will soon rub up against one another and offenses may fly. Regardless of the size egos by nature seem rather fragile, if not petulant. The desire to make things happen and to prod things along could take on overly strong proportions and the scales of inappropriateness could be tipped. This is definitely NOT a day to sit and comtemplate one's navel, or to meditate of the meaning of it all. ACTION NOW is the byword. Get ready to break past records of human physical exertion. Also be careful about going where angels fear to tread; the lower, criminal element may take on extreme intimidating force. Be careful yourself as to what is directing your actions: your higher, true self; or you lower worldly self. (Mars opposite Pluto)
