A Clear Window to the Outside World
by Curtis Burns,

Possible Event Triggers: Mars Neptune and the Nodes

The high/low point for this week looks to occur over Thursday, August 2 and Friday, August 3.  Mars will aspect Neptune and the next day the Sun will aspect Saturn.  Some people have speculated at “terrorist” events happening during the Olympics.  While I’m not the prophet of doom, I’ve seen enough funny stuff occurring on Mars/Neptune days to realize that such a misfortune has some likelihood to occur on those days, and regarding terrorism today, there are layers and layers of intrigue to every instance of it.

The Nodes and Neptune have moved into square to each other, a configuration that is just about as malefic as anything.  So with all the funny stuff going on over whether the Aurora shooter actually did the shooting or not, questions around the horrific event, and now the strange Olympics 2012 opening ceremonies with the weird imagery of a towering witch figure, we just might be able to see some astrological correlation.

This may be a time to really take a look at what’s going on in life, are we seeing what is merely a projection of our own mind onto reality, or do we really have a clear window to the outside world?  Neptune and the Nodes afflicting each other may bring these questions to bear.

Monday, July 30
Early on, obsessive or compulsive behaviors may be overly activated, be careful of pushing the envelope and the consequences thereof.  Physical, mechanical, electronic or any other kind of breakdown is indicated, especially from pushing things beyond their normal limits.  (Sun quincunx Pluto)

Tuesday, July 31
Relationships, maturity and freedom will be strong themes.  Later on there may be moments of urgency, hysteria or alarm; it may be a good opportunity to gain a little in the self-assertion department.  (Sun trine Uranus, Venus trine Saturn, Mercury tridecile Juno, Mercury quintile Mars)

Wednesday, Aug 1
No peaking influences

Thursday, Aug 2
Actions may stem from malice.  Misfortunes, accidents, and injuries are possible.  Motives may be hard to clearly identify.  Energy and enthusiasm may be hard to find.  In other areas, important relationship developments may occur.  (Mars sesquiquadrate Neptune, Sun semisquare Venus)

Friday, Aug 3
Pathological behaviors are accentuated.  Problems, delays, and other obstacles may loom large in the mind, making it difficult to press on.  Courage and fortitude however can be drawn and focused more easily.  (Sun quintile Saturn, Mercury quincunx Neptune)

Saturday, Aug 4
Relationship wants and needs may become magnified tenfold, seeming to eclipse other considerations.  The urge to “merge” may be hard to get past.  (Juno semisquare Pluto)

Sunday, Aug 5
Obsessive and compulsive behaviors may be accentuated, people may be inadvertently pushing the envelope.  Breakdowns may occur through pushing things past their limits.  For others breakthroughs are possible.  Positive relationship developments are also seen.  (Sun biquintile Pluto, Venus biquintile Juno)

Monday, Aug 6
Asteroid Juno moves into sidereal Scorpio, a shift in relationship patterns may be seen.

March 2024: A World without Equinoxes or Solstices

In March we come to the Vernal Equinox, when for about a month night and day are of about equal length, hence the word equinox.  There is one day when they are exactly equal and that is the Vernal Equinox, March 20. It is thereafter that one starts to gain dominance, for the Northern Hemisphere it is the day, while in the Southern it is night.  For the Southern their part of the globe actually moves away from the sun, hence the decreased light.
